Who is First-Gen/ Low-Income?
We are open to anyone who self-identifies with a first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) background, with all the variability that includes. We know that people within the FGLI umbrella come with unique personal narratives, and we welcome them all.
Our group is united by a goal to support anyone who has been under-resourced financially or otherwise, who seeks extra material and professional assistance, and who would benefit from initiatives to demystify academia through mentorship and guidance.
We invite people of all walks of life to join us in this important work!
